Tie a knot

The story of our lives has many chapters. One bad chapter doesn’t mean it’s the end of our story. There were so many times I felt like giving up, but God in His infinite love mysteriously tied a knot at the end of my rope. Many times we just have to keep fighting to get through those awful days. Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Absolutely.

Whenever you do not understand what’s happening in your life, just close your eyes, take a really deep breath and say “God I know it is your plan. Just help me get through it.”

One step can make all the difference. So go as far as you can, then take another step. We may not be there yet, but I am certain we will get closer than we were the day before. You have to fight through those awful days to appreciate the best days of our lives.
Sometimes our heart hurts so many times and each time we become a little bit more angry and bitter and less kind, but in those times it’s important to remind ourselves that God’s abundant grace and mercy is available if we would only ask Him. Bow your head and weather the storms. Storms don’t last, they lose strength and change directions. There’s always hope in every difficult situation. You will live and not die to tell others how you made it through the storms.

God still has the final say in our lives, whether we are aware of it or not. Christian or NOT…Sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms us ….and other times He calms the storm.

Don’t expect anyone to understand your journey. It’s your journey, it’s your story, so be strong enough to map out your own destiny. Ask God for wisdom and totally rely on His leading. Don’t allow others to make decisions for you …trust God’s leading and direction for you and your life. This is your life and your story.

Encourage yourself because God is still writing your story along with you. Don’t let go of your faith because of what you cannot see now….

When life is too hard to stand – kneel 🙏🏾
