Delete the Nuisances

If you ever choose to find happiness –  you must remember to use your delete button as often as needed. There are things in your life that you simply don’t need to store in your memory or to keep in your diary. We have insufficient mental capacity to hold everything that has happened to us – good or bad, happy or sad. Our brain is wired in such a way that it would crash with the overloading of information. So choose wisely what you store in your memory. If you keep on ignoring the signals or warning signs of an overload memory (tears, bitterness, anger, hurt)  you will most likely end up losing all information (good and bad, happy and sad) stored in your memory bank. You want to keep sufficient mental space for good memories, dreams and goals in order to live and leave a positive legacy…. so begin deleting the annoyances.

“Brothers and sisters: I know that I still have a long way to go …But there is one thing I do: I forget what is in the past and try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me.”

To reach your goal in life, you will have to sift through mental stuff you stored along the way. Sometime you have to accept the fact that certain things, people, positions, and relationships will never go back to how they used to be. You must be mentally prepare to accept the changes and expect greater things to come your way. To heal anything, you must stop touching or remembering it. You must use your delete button.

Delete anything that messes with your faith….Anything and everything that steals your joy, happiness, laughter and faith in God needs to be deleted immediately. Don’t forget you are human and it’s impossible to mentally store and keep everything that has happened in your life without crashing. Begin to refocus on your dreams and goals, laughter and joy …and keep moving towards it. We were all born with purpose and destiny – so get to work now!

You cannot start your next chapter if you keep re- reading your last chapter. It’s always a brilliant decision to keep writing new Chapters everyday. Love yourself enough to surround yourself with people who respect you. The company you keep is a reflection of how you feel about yourself – if you want to be a Woman of Worth, you must choose healthy minded women whose conversations and conduct produces positive growth and glorifies God.

Don’t be afraid to use your delete button in friendships, texts, messages, emails, pictures etc when needed throughout the day. Success lies in what you meditate on.
