It suddenly appears that there are so many people that are struggling with the ability to sleep well at nights.
I have had so many people directly and indirectly mentioned to me of their sleepless nights predicament.
Insomnia is a habitual difficulty to fall asleep. It’s waking up often and then having trouble going back to sleep. Then panic creeps in when you realize how little sleep you are getting.
It’s amazing how many people do not sleep well at nights.
One thing that works better than counting sheep is meditating on God’s Word and repeating verses over and over in your mind.
Overthinking leads to anxiety – and anxiety leads to greater anxiety.
The devil is a LIAR! He’s actually afraid of you finding out the truth.
Solution: Here are some handpicked verses to read over and over until you memorize them all. God’s Word combats every single opposing factor that could come against you in sleep and in your waking moments.
“It is a waste of time to get up early and stay up late, trying to make a living.
The Lord provides for those he loves, even while they are sleeping.”
Psalms 127:2 ERV
“I remember you while lying on my bed. I think about you in the middle of the night.
That is because you are the one who helps me. It makes me happy to be under your protection!”
Psalms 63:6-7 ERV
“From then on, whenever the evil spirit sent by God came on Saul
David would get his harp and play it.
The evil spirit would leave, and Saul would feel better and be all right again.”
1 Samuel 16:23 GNT
“God says, “Stop fighting and know that I am God!
I am the one who defeats the nations; I am the one who controls the world.”
Psalms 46:10 ERV
“I can lie down to rest and know that I will wake up, because the Lord covers and protects me.
So I will not be afraid of my enemies, even if thousands of them surround me.”
Psalms 3:5-6 ERV
““Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’
That’s what those people who don’t know God are always thinking about.
Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things.
So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Tomorrow will have its own worries.”
Matthew 6:31-32, 34 ERV
Tell your mind to be STILL. Reading out loud and memorizing these verses will combat insomnia. It is NOT God’s will for you to be miserable and living in anxiety.
Sleep is a gift from God.
And God rested on the 7th Day and so must you!
