It’s kind of sad to see how many people go through their entire life feeling victimized.
- A victim is never ever responsible or accountable for their behavior or actions.
- They have a sense of entitlement that everyone should sympathize with them.
I would like to think that the spirit of victimization is a generational curse that can pass down from one generation to the other.
Yes, life is rough for everyone but at the end of the day – 90% was YOUR REACTION!!! #thoughtfortheday
One of a victim’s favorite quote is -“It’s not my fault, they did it to me.” When people feel helpless in a given situation – they begin to blame other people for their actions and behavior.
Think maybe you simply…👇🏾
Question: What’s the difference between feeling victimized and a person conquering adversities?
Answer: The Mind. The only thing standing between someone and their dream is ‘The Story they keep telling themselves.’
Feelings cannot be trusted. Here’s an example – Today I felt depressed and not myself and everything just went wrong. I thought I would get all the support of my family and friends but they were too busy and didn’t have time for me. I’m having a difficult time today. #Victim
Example of Conquering Adversities – Kevin grew up in a dysfunctional home. His dad was an alcoholic and his mom was abusive to him. No one in his family finished school. Kevin purposed in his heart that he will do well. Kevin studied and worked at a supermarket. Today, Kevin is running his own company after graduating seven years ago. #Conqueror
Now, let’s look into a few biblical verses to understand how Jesus defends and shields us from hurts and pain. Yes, Jesus cares about our issues.
✝️ An adulterous woman:
“Jesus stood up and asked her, “Where is everyone? Isn’t there anyone left to accuse you?”
“No sir,” the woman answered.
👉🏾👉🏾 Then Jesus told her, “I am not going to accuse you either. You may go now, but don’t sin anymore.”👈🏾👈🏾
John 8:10-11 CEVDCUS06
✝️ Fighting negative emotions and thoughts:
👉🏾👉🏾 “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 👌🏾
John 8:32 CEVDCUS06
✝️ Struggling with forgiving yourself over a past mistake:
🙌🏾🙌🏾 “So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.” 👏🏾👏🏾
