Is It Midnight?

Midnight Reality Check:

The day was long and exhausting and you are tired and sleepy …. but as soon as you get into bed:

  • your mind says to you, “I’m not ready to sleep”
  • right away your mind starts rehearsing your mistakes and regrets
  • you begin worrying about something that was said or done to you
  • or worrying about something that’s completely out of your control.

For some people – between midnight to predawn as tired as you may have felt before getting into bed – falling asleep is now a challenge. Your mind just refuses to slow down.

So many demonic activites begin at the stroke of midnight – creating:

  • Insomnia
  • Internal struggles and fights
  • Mental Abuse
  • Violent behaviour
  • Demonic activities in high places
  • Mental turmoil
  • Suicidial thoughts

Do you know that midnight prayers are the most powerful time to fight off everything that wars AGAINST us in the darkness.

Presistent Prayer decides what HAPPENS in our mind and what REMAINS in your life. You’ve got to resist the enemy through prayer.

When I’m tired and exhausted and sleep avoids me – then I know that my prayers will bring all my fears and concerns to nought…and I shall lie down in peace because I’ve spoken to God. I am also aware that my prayer life increases when I’m fighting a battle that is just too much for me to handle.

There are millions of people who unfortunately have not enjoyed a good night rest for years. The saddest part is when people begin to accept that lack or little sleep is normal.

When you experience the same problems and challenges year after year, and you know there must be more to life … those are the times God expects you to lean heavily (pray, pray, pray) on Him and trust Him to either deliver you completely from the trouble or give you peace throughout the trials. You cannot get ahead of whatever is keeping you up at night without God.

In the Bible, Paul and Silas were placed in prison because of their deliverance ministry – they were praying for people tormented by the devil.

The Bible says,

“Along about midnight, Paul and Silas were at prayer and singing a robust hymn to God. The other prisoners couldn’t believe their ears. Then, without warning, a huge earthquake! The jailhouse tottered, every door flew open, all the prisoners were loose.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭16:25-26‬ ‭MSG‬‬

The devil messes up people’s minds in the midnight hours holding them hostages to everything that they have little or no control over. Some people because of insomnia – get into drinking activities, or pornography, or stealing, or other forms of demonic activities that will eventually destroy or bring more chaos in their lives.
There is an option – Jesus is just one prayer away. He will hear and respond to each and every cry late in the midnight hour. Jesus CAN turn things around. Jesus Christ is the answer for insomnia and all other sleeping disorders. His remedy is Prayer. Prayer makes you stronger and it moves those difficult situations into pebbles. They honestly become easier to face.

Don’t allow satan to keep you up all night worrying over stuff you have NO control over.

In peace you will lie down and sleep. For God alone makes you live in safety. Give ‘it’ to Jesus. Go to bed. And He will give you REST!!

  1. There is a battle for our mind. Scripture says “God He will keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him”
