Won’t God Do It?

Bad things happen everyday – to everyone, but the difference is how we handle it. Do we give up? Do we muster every ounce of strength to start all over again? Do we rally our support to get through?

Perspective is everything — is it really a bad life, or a bad moment, or a bad day? Definitely not a bad life — everything else can change if our perspective is right.

Tonight after spending hours writing my blog, the internet dipped before I got chance to save my work (my thoughts were in high gear). As I approached the end of the long hard task of editing, editing and more editing — boom …I lost my work.

Yes, I was pretty upset because of the hours I had invested in it. I was so exasperated and exhausted that I lost interest in doing any further writing for the night.

Then I came to myself and fought back with a thought— do I give up just like that or do I become resilient and start all over again? I decided that I must own this moment and write about it.

Even the author who writes – ‘You can get through a bad day’  — has a bad day. Sometimes the best way to get through a bad day or a bad moment is to just get through it.

I had to choose not to be a victim of giving up under adversities. I quickly decided that I would write a completely new blog than attempt to get back my momentum re-writing the one I lost.

As I mentioned before in many of my blogs — the reason for my blogging is to share my thoughts and experiences with the hope it brings encouragement.

God’s Word says,

“I will stand like a guard and watch.

I will wait to see what the Lord will say to me.

I will wait and learn how he answers my questions.

The Lord answered me, “Write down what I show you.

Write it clearly on a sign so that the message will be easy to read.

This message cannot help those who refuse to listen to it,

but those who are good will live because they believe it.”

‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭2:1-2, 4‬ ‭ERV‬‬

Here’s to many more writings of my experiences and thoughts with the hope it brings hope to someone else.

  • Some days you just got to praise your way through.
  • Bad things do happen to good people — the difference is how you handle the experience.
  • It’s not a bad life – it was a bad moment
  • Own your moment in your destiny
  • Praise your way through it
  • Go through your experience without making excuses
  • Write your message in a way it can be easily read
  • Your message cannot help those who wouldn’t listen
  • Those who do good – will live because they believe it

Won’t God do it again?  Yep!!!

  1. Happy that you got through your “moment”. It’s always worth it – not just to you, but to others who live your moments with you. Blessings always. Be strong and very courageous.
