The spirit of anger is like a runaway train. If left unattended — it can be catastrophic for both the person that has lost control and the person that the anger is being poured out on.
Anger is destructive. Anger has consequences.
“Don’t get angry. Don’t be upset; it only leads to trouble.”
Psalms 37:8 ICB
Angry people make plans against good people and they enjoy it —but the Lord laughs at them because He will make certain they get what they deserve.
The children of God should never get drawn into the evil activities of an angry person. God is our defender. Only with our eyes as children of God — we will see the plans of wicked people dismantle before us.
Every time the spirit of anger tugs at your heart – guard your heart!
Anger is a setup for a setback! The ONLY thing you have ANY control over is, how you respond.
“It’s better to have little and be right than to have much and be wrong.” Psalms 37:16 ICB
Repeat making it personal — ‘it’s better for ME to have little and be right than to have much and be wrong.’
God supports you and keeps watch over your family, children and grandchildren — you will NOT be ashamed when trouble comes.
God shows us everyday how to live and He is pleased with us when we follow His ways.
“If he stumbles, he will not fall, because the Lord holds his hand.”
Psalms 37:24 ICB
If I stumble, I will not fail, because the LORD holds my hand.
We do ourselves a disservice when we get angry and act on it. Good thought.
