When JESUS says ‘YES’

God encourages all of us to pray. He wants us to absolutely pray for e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g from small to large. When we include God in e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g – God gives us e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g ….Jesus told us to have FAITH in God. 

IF we have NO doubts in our minds and believe e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g we say will happen — God comes along and backs us. Whenever we pray and ask God for something, we must believe that God attentively listens to our prayers and He answers. 

To those who have been following my story about my nephew – here’s an update. If you missed the story you can always go back to my previous blogs to catch up. Today was his surgery. What a mighty God we serve. Family members formed a prayer chain – every hour on the hour someone was praying.

Praise God the surgery was ‘technically’ a success according to the Chief Surgeon. The surgeon’s remarks were very uplifting for most of it. One of his repeated comment was that my nephew will not gain back mobility in his legs. 

After my nephew returned to his room after surgery – the doctors made their rounds and to everyone’s amazement — the surgeon curiously scroll his fingers under my nephew’ s feet where there were NO feelings since he became paralyzed months ago….and BAM…. his toes twitched on both feet causing the surgeon to exclaim in amazement. Once again – this time the doctor squeezed the both legs of my nephew and in spite of him being heavily sedated …my nephew reacted with a painful cry. 

The doctor’s response – “Hmmmm…interested. Keep your fingers cross because this is good.” 

Miracles happen to those who are expecting them. I still believe in miracles! The Power of a Praying Family still remains the most important part to answered prayers. 

Surgery was technically a success. His spine is now supported with rods and pretty soon we are believing that he would be back on his feet taking the message everywhere he goes that Jesus is his healer. 

When doctors says “IMPOSSIBLE” — God says, “Not so fast. I’ve got this. IT IS POSSIBLE!” 

The rest of the story would be seeing God’s miracle working power from wheelchair to walking. 

Men do their best. God does the rest. 

God’s still got this! This is just one chapter to his story. It’s his journey but not his destination.
