Life is precious and should never be wasted murmuring and complaining about silly childish stuff.
We are adults — say what you mean and mean what you say….Reduce the arguments and fights because someone somewhere is taking their last breath as you are reading this.
“Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God.” Hebrews 9:27 GNB
“But anyone who is alive in the world of the living has some hope; a live dog is better off than a dead lion.”
Ecclesiastes 9:4 GNB
- Everyone MUST die once
- After that – we will be JUDGED by GOD
- Anyone who is alive has some HOPE
- A LIVE dog is better off than a DEAD lion
A lion is known as 'the KING of the jungle' ….it is much more powerful and swifter than a dog when he's living. The lion is protective, brave, willing to fight, he's a hunter, they hang out with other lions or by themselves. But when that lion DIES – his strength and other strong characteristics he once possessed and prides himself in – they are EXPIRED.
The living dog can bark louder and fiercer long after the King of The Jungle has died.
The time WILL COME for all of us when our fame and fortune, our cars and homes, our clothes, our family and all the wonderful things we once pride ourselves in — will no longer have any significance.
We will be like the dead lion one day and someone we once looked down on will rule and reign in the kingdom we built.
It's ALL vanity!!!
No matter who you were before you die – you are nothing after death. The coffin doesn't hold your credentials and your status in life. All men are equal but it's our ego that makes us swell headed to our own detriment.
“Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God.”
Hebrews 9:27 GNB
The race is not to the swift. We only have one life ….make sure we live it with limited regrets. The real fight is to gain God's favor and grace. When we choose to submit our lives to Jesus we gain everything – there's nothing lost.
I repeat — A living dog is better than a dead lion. Be humble. No one is greater or more powerful than anyone else. Your sins are the same as my sins – there's no small sin or big sin. We all need JESUS!
To parents, spouses, siblings and friends:
- Life is not about being rich, pretty, educated or perfect.
- Life is about being humble, honest and trustworthy.
- The walls of the hospital has heard more sincere prayers than the church pews. — So help us God!
No more excuses! Let your heart still care! Don't say it – Show it!
