You Can’t Just Throw Up Your Hands in Despair

Hello my friends,

When folks question where is God during the unfortunate world’s events that we are witnessing every day or why do Christians go through difficult circumstances  – is it possible that those who question where is God … are the ones who may not be reading His Word for the answers.

God has been so upfront with us and it’s all written in His Word. He forewarned us that WE must prepare for rough times ahead.

John 16:1-3:

“I’ve told you these things to prepare you for rough times ahead.

They are going to throw you out of the meeting places.

There will even come a time when anyone who kills you will think he’s doing God a favor.

They will do these things because they never really understood the Father.

I’ve told you these things so that when the time comes and they start in on you, you’ll be well-warned and ready for them.”

‭‭John‬ ‭16:1-4‬ ‭MSG

As we watch the news and listen to our fellow citizens speak …IF you are not mindful  – your heart can stop beating because of Fear.

God has so graciously and lovingly let us in on ALL that He’s doing … including ALL that would happen tomorrow and the next day. But, we’ve got to read ‘The Book’  to get His answers.

We were told in Matthew 24: 6-8 that all these things will come to pass:

  1. Doomsday deceivers
  2. Leaders with faked identities
  3. People will be deceived
  4. Wars and rumors of wars
  5. Nation will fight against nation
  6. Rulers will fight against rulers
  7. Famines and earthquakes

We must NOT just throw our hands up in the air and simply give in to Fear when these things happen. We are reminded – do not become discouraged or afraid … God is with us every step of our journey.

We will NOT quit because of the occasional hard times we face.

Our God is the Storm Whisper. The secret to staying confident and at peace is to have Jesus inside our ‘boat’. Whatever lies ahead – it is well!

If God is hidden from anyone – it is because they are either looking or going in the wrong direction.

As citizens on earth we may not be sure what to do … BUT we know that God knows what to do.

God has not left our side. Not one day goes by without us experiencing God’s Amazing Grace.

We will not just throw up our hands in despair. We will say what we believe …. and let God do the rest.
