Don’t Look Down If You Are Afraid of Heights

The bible says:

“Then Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab and our other enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall. 

There was not one gap in it. 

But I had not yet set the doors in the gates. So Sanballat and Geshem sent me this message: “Come, Nehemiah, let’s meet together in Kephirim on the plain of Ono.” 

But they were planning to harm me. 

So I sent messengers to them with this answer: “I am doing a great work. 

I can’t come down.

I don’t want the work to stop while I leave to meet you.”

Nehemiah‬ ‭6:1-3‬ ‭ICB‬‬

Distractors, Encouragers, and Naysayers all live on the same street in our neighborhood ... they are our next door neighbors. 

The key to fulfilling your goals is to hear what God is saying to you  – and do just that.  

It’s worth knowing beforehand that discouragement usually comes when you are almost to the end of an assignment. 

Distractors can be anyone who do not share your dream or understand your purpose in life … but …. they do show up with unsolicited suggestions on how to accomplish it.

Naysayers are those folks who sit back and watch you spend sleepless hours laboriously building your dream – and come to you and say, “it’s impossible.” 

Encouragers are those who help you build your dream and stays with you to the end. They are the ones who lift up your spirit when you are discouraged. They say a kind word to you. They bring the best out of you. 

WARNING: Be mindful that sometimes we are our ONLY ENCOURAGERS. Our only mode of transportation is a leap of faith to start and to finish the dream.

When God gives you a dream – it’s your dream NOT someone else’s…so don’t expect others to understand what God is saying to you. People’s opinions really amounts to nothing since your journey is totally dependent on God alone.

When God calls YOU, he equips you with all that’s needed for the next  level and the next level and the next level. 

There’s new strength that’s available to you each and every time when you step out in FAITH. 

Life is full of distractions and distractors. 

If you hang around people that are inspiring, motivating and achieving their own goals – you will be kept motivated and inspired. 

Don’t let the dream/goal be aborted by listening to the wrong voice. Stand on guard. Guard your heart. Guard your mind. Guard your emotions. 

Be faithful to God and trust Him to complete whatever He has put into your heart.
