WHO ARE YOU TELLING?

“Tell EVERYONE who is discouraged, BE STRONG and DO NOT be AFRAID. God is coming to YOUR RESCUE.”  Isaiah 35:4

Disappointment comes when we think something should happen and it does not happen. Disappointment leads to Discouragement. Many times we pray earnestly and consistently … and things still do not turn out the way we hoped they would.

Discouragement comes to even the strongest Christians. It does no good to pretend you don’t feel what you feel. The truth is people will disappoint and hurt us. But, a strong Christian is one who KNOWS WHAT TO DO when discouragement comes knocking on their door.

I sincerely wish for the day when women will STOP competing with other women. LIFE IS MORE THAN GETTING THAT PROMOTION, PURSUING THAT CAREER, LOOKS AND CLOTHES.

Life will be great when younger women begin to look for older women to share their experiences. Or maybe, two women of the same age sharing their mistakes and accomplishments. Or siblings holding each other hands to walk over the shaky bridge.

Or what about adult children and parents?

If I can change the world for one quick second, I would make it mandatory that everyone be held accountable for someone other than themselves. So many innocent lives are being lost through suicide, murders, family squabbles, greed, hatred, unforgiveness …etc.

Can we take responsibility to watch out for discouragement in someone in our inner circle or to mentor at least one person this week? We can beat discouragement by simply looking out for someone other than ourselves.

TELL EVERYONE WHO IS DISCOURAGED, BE STRONG AND DO NOT BE AFRAID. GOD IS COMING TO YOUR RESCUE.

  1. Great words of wisdom.
Us older women do have a charge to befriend the younger women so we can can pass on the wealth of our many experiences.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Stay Blessed.
