It’s A Feet Situation 

Have you ever heard that if you ever found yourself in the WRONG STORY, LEAVE? 

A lot of unpleasantness is caused by idle, wicked folks who spread rumours destroying people’s reputation and credibility. Their FEET run to spread BAD NEWS. They stir up trouble and break up friendships. 

Are we agents of change or are we comfortable being part of the gossip crew? 

It is time for all of us to take a stand against idle and malious conversations. If it doesn’t edify us or shed positive light on someone else  …then we should quickly walk away from the drama. 

BFF – Best FRIENDS Forever is a serious commitment to make with someone unless we have tested their credibility. If the conversation between us and our ‘BFF’ ALWAYS leads to gossip…. then the friendship should no longer serve any of us any purpose. 

We are NOT trees that have roots in the ground – we have FEET…moving on is always a great option.  

How wonderful it is to see someone walking towards us to tell us GOOD NEWS. How exciting it is to hear them speak well of others. 

My dear Mom used to say, ‘He who brings a bone, carries one.’  In other words, if someone is always having negative stories to share about others … then there’s a huge chance that they are speaking about you in the same manner. 

Don’t be a slave to a friendship that drains you emotionally, mentally or spiritually. Use your FEET and your brain…and walk away from anything that doesn’t serve you purpose.

Gossip:

1. Breaks God’s greatest commandment.  Love each other as God loves you
2. It hurts who we are
3. We will be held accountable
4. It will cause us to lose friends
5. It will find its way back to us
