Nothing is as painful as feeling unloved. There are many reasons why people feel unloved:
- Misunderstood
- Insecurity
- Feeling unworthy
- Being ignored
- Loneliness
Gary Chapman wrote a book on The Five Languages of Love. He suggests five ways to express and experience love …
- Gift giving
- Quality time
- Words of affirmation
- Acts of service
- Physical touch
We all have one main love language and one secondary one. Example – someone can have #2 as their main love language, followed by #5 as their secondary one.
It’s easy to learn another person’s love language by observing how they show love to others, and what they complain most about.
One known fact is, EVERYBODY deserves to be loved.
But, if you feel misunderstood, unworthy, insecured, or not enough…know for a fact – you didn’t get those ideas from God.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
YET, I WILL NOT FORGET YOU.
Behold,
I HAVE ENGRAVED YOU ON THE PALMS OF MY HANDS; YOUR WALLS ARE CONTINUALLY BEFORE ME.”
Isaiah 49:15-16
Don’t ALLOW anyone to make you feel like you are not enough.
No matter how you feel, GET UP! DRESS UP! And NEVER EVER GIVE UP!
Very inspiring and thought provoking……..feeling inspired !!!
