The dictionary definition for anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome.

Anxiety can cause us to have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. It causes panic attack. Anxiety starts in the mind but it can have a crippling effect on our entire body. Anxiety causes us to overthink and doubt ourselves.

How can we fight off anxiety? We must first realize that anxiety distracts us from the all sufficient God. God wants us to live every day trusting and believing that He can and will fight all our battles.

God instructed us…

  • Don’t fret or worry
  • Instead of worrying, PRAY
  • Let whatever is on our minds turn into prayers
  • Let God know all our concerns

And before you know it, you will have a sense of peace coming over you, and you will settle down and have a good night sleep.

True peace comes from knowing God.

The devil takes full credit for stealing your joy, and he brags about it – ask the psychiatrist and psychologist.

It’s wisdom to choose peace with God.

  1. Why worry when you can pray? Trust JESUS, He’ll make a way. Don’t be like doubting Thomas, just take GOD at HIS promise. Why worry, worry, worry, worry, when you can pray? 👭💝

  2. To combat the rat race of life scriptures do admonish us to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”
