Attachments can be Broken

Dictionary meaning of Attachment is a feeling that binds one to a person, thing, or a cause. It is a state of being attached.

Attachments hold us back from succeeding and moving past the expired seasons.

Everything in this world is temporary. Our emotions, relationships, feelings, struggles, thoughts, the weather etc….they all have seasons.

Julius Caesar said, “There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune…we must take the current when it serves.” Meaning – Go with the flow. If you miss the opportunity you can end up most miserable.

In seasons of change – DON’T

  • Blame the devil
  • Our spouse
  • Our parents
  • Past failed relationships
  • Ourselves

All experiences good or bad have divine purpose. GOD promises that ALL things will work together for GOOD to ALL WHO LOVE GOD. All my experiences/seasons in life will work out in my favor. There are countless benefits to loving GOD.

Accepting whatever comes and be ready to let things go when it’s time is – WISDOM.

Pain, heartbreak, discouragement, and bitterness are all great teachers – there is purpose. There are folks right now sitting in the classroom of the School of Hard Knocks waiting to hear how we gained strength to lose our attachments and how we moved on to the next level of happiness.

When it is very clear that something has ended…let it go without regret. Our expectations can cause disappointments. It’s okay not to have all the answers to why things have changed.

Finally, when GOD approves of our lives, He will promote us to greater and better things. Our relationship with God should be our priority. He will use all we have been through as our bragging rights to FREEDOM.
