Most of us strive to find that one thing that we are very passionate about.
For me, I believe if I can do that one thing for the rest of my life and turn around and use that to help others – I would be the happiest human being.
I am my biggest critic and I frequently struggle with the fear of… ‘I am not good enough’ when it comes to my writings.
Most nights without failure I get stumped with my writings. The frustrating thing is, I have my thoughts…BUT… sometimes they are frozen, or mentally my subjects are changing, and the new release is slow.
It takes me at least three hours from start to finish to write one article …while it takes my readers a mere five minutes to read 🤔.
The reward: The feedback from (both Social Media and WordPress) are so so uplifting and inspiring. It is so encouraging that I forgot how tedious the process was….until the routine starts all over again. It’s the passion that keeps the midnight oil burning.
The struggle is real…but the results are humbling.
The best way to overcome fear is to keep facing it head on day after day … (or night after night like me 😊). Keep doing the thing that scares you the most and the result is gratifying.
Stepping out of our comfort zone is the best way to grow.
My nine year old grandson started karate classes for kids approximately eight weeks ago. I was proud of him as only a grandma would know as he passed on from a white belt to yellow belt in a matter of approximatly eight weeks.
What have I learnt from him?
- Self discipline
- Self esteem
- Self confidence
- Know your limits
- Understand your boundaries
To add to one of my proudest grandma’s moments was seeing the words on the wall where he was smashing pieces of woods with his forceful kicks – “Ignite The Leader in You”…this right here was my personal ‘Aha Moment”.
Ignite the LEADER in YOU.
Our doubts and fears have the potential for us to look deeper inside of us and ignite the LEADER in us.
The Passion comes from spending more time on WHATEVER excites us.
We shall laugh at the days to COME.
One day at a time Sweet Jesus is all that we need to arrive at our PASSION.
Another inspiring word today, Junie. I appreciate your discipline in preparing these daily blogs which are a blessing to me. Thank you for sharing the practical illustrations. May you be blessed as you bless others.
