It Shall Come to Pass

Most of us become impatient waiting on people, things, traffic lights, trains, buses, planes etc….It’s even much harder to wait around for something we know that may never happen….But we anxiously wait anyway to see if it will happen.

Throughout my years I’ve understood one truth and that is – the only way God can show us that He is in control is to put us into situations we can’t control.

Those kind of situations let us know that we are not wise enough, rich enough, or stupid enough to handle them on our own.

People who betray our trust is part of God’s plan. Our haters are part of God’s overall plan.

When we expected a ‘yes’ but we got a ‘no’ is part of God’s plan. When the long awaited phone call doesn’t happen…that is also part of God’s plan.

When you going through hell… that’s part of God’s plan.

How can God display His miraculous ways if there isn’t a plot twist?

If the sun decides one day not to show up…how would we know that white clouds could look grey. If the moon decides to hide all night…only then we will miss seeing the stars.

My friends, it shall come to pass that anyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved from misery. In God …there’s deliverance from all kinds of evil.

Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’

God is never late.

His timing may be confusing or even frustrating, but He is The One who holds the beginning and the end in the palms of His hands.

Nicole Mullen says:

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?

Who told the ocean you can only come this far?

Who told the moon where to hide till evening?

Whose words can catch a fallen star?

The very same God that spins things in orbit

He runs to the weary, the worn and the weak

And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken

They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives

I know my Redeemer lives

Let all creation testify

Let this life within me cry

I know my Redeemer lives” …..

And all our struggles and disappointments will come to pass. So we need to keep both our peace and our pace with God.
