■ No one have a sparkling clean record on life. We all have skeletons in our cupboards even if we wear a minister robe, Prada, or tattered clothes.
Bad things happen to good people…and ….good people do bad stuff.
The beautiful thing about life is, every new day gives us a new lease on life. Just as the sun rises every day – so every day is a new beginning.
Note to self: We are not what happened to us…but we are what we CHOOSE to become.
Many of us would not have chosen some of the encounters we had …but life happens. The good ones – YES! The bad ones – NAH!
With God every new morning we receive new mercies. Yesterday is gone, today is here. Tomorrow is not in our hands.
I’ve discovered something phenomenal about skeletons though…”death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge in it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.” Proverbs 18:21 AMP
Maybe, some of our skeletons are: lost inheritance through bad choices, a friendship lost through betrayal, our health has declined, or anxiety because of a rebellious child…etc.
Whatever have dried up can be bought back to life. Allow God to do His part and we do ours – we can speak life over skeletons in our cupboards if it really matters to us.
SPEAK life as God directs (He never ever speaks negatively to us or about us) ….and watch God bring back to life those things that matter the most in our lives.
As long as we have life, we have hope, and hope in God doesn’t make us ashamed. It’s better to trust in God than to put our confidence in a human being.
Life doesn’t end when things have dried up….the best chapter is the next chapter.
I am convinced that God can do anything and everything. Nothing and no one can upset His plans. God can restore – and then double it. That’s my story and I’m holding on to it.
