It’s the devil’s duty to frustrate, and bring discouragement to everyone of us. You can’t get upset with him because he’s good at his job. It’s our duty to keep on going in spite of how we may feel.
Emotions are temporary.
There’s a real enemy that always at war with – who you are, where you are going and how you are going to get there.
Once you understand his strategy β it’s important that we do not lose heart in the journey.
If you have formed the habit to only look for the things that are NOT going well in your life β chances are ….you would have settled for less than the best many times because you grew tired along the way.
God has NOT left our side. He never did and certainly He’s not about to ruin His reputation by abandoning us.
While we may be going through the worst …our trust in God should remain unshakable.
DON’T JUST SETTLE BECAUSE YOU ARE TIRED!
You can’t keep a good person down! You will look back in years to come – proud that you made it when you taught you couldn’t go on.
You messed up, so did I. You failed, so did I. You have a horrible past, so did I. I kept going and so would you.
Romans 8:38-39New International Version (NIV)
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
