It’s emotionally healthy to be the kind of person who makes Monday mornings look like a Superhero. Believe in yourself and remember your thoughts are totally up to you.
Life is filled with hiccups…so keep going in spite of the discomfort and you wouldn’t regret it. Don’t waste time feeling sorry for yourself.
We don’t need to be rich, we only need enough bread for each day …and to be happy eating it.
If I think that I have to figure out everything…then I get anxious, very anxious. So I set my own pace by listening to music.
‘Plot change calls for a different song’.
Sometimes the songs we sing can bring back good or bad memories. I enjoy listening to music that would set the tone I want for the day.
I am the type of person who listens to the same playlists seven days a week because the lyrics speak the truth and snaps me out of overthinking.
Someone once said, “With the right music, you either forget EVERYTHING or remember EVERYTHING.”
Below is the lyrics to one of my favorite songs. It brings back great memories of how many times God came through for me during my most difficult times.
I hope you will check it out on YouTube if you become curious of what I have on my playlist and how I stay positive in a crazy world.
“You are God Alone” by William McDowell.
“You’re not a God created by human hands
You’re not a God dependent on any mortal man
You’re not a God in need of anything we can give
By Your plan, that’s just the way it is
You are God alone, from before time began
You were on Your throne, You are God alone
And right now, in the good times and bad
You are on Your throne, You are God alone
You’re the only God whose power none can contend
You’re the only God whose Name and Praise will never end
You’re the only God who’s worthy of everything we can give
You’re God, and that’s just the way it is
That’s who You are.”
Just know it’s okay to take it ONE day at a time.
