Let’s get this straight – as little or big humans we worry about what others think of us lots more than we care to acknowledge.
A toddler will perform over and over any act that keeps the family laughing.
You go to your place of employment with the hope that your day’s work will bring satisfaction to your employer.
We prepare meals at home with the expectation that the family will enjoy every bite.
We do our best for our children with the hope they will appreciate our sacrifices.
On the contrary – If we choose to live like a hermit, our life will be unproductive, lonely, miserable and very depressing.
Meanwhile there are others who decide to boldly step out and do this thing call ‘life’ with God.
To follow God we must be willing to push past other people’s opinions.
We must stop thinking about what people will think because we decided to stick with God.
As humans, we are daily struggling to deal with our own insecurities and shortcomings…so don’t get distracted by the loud whispers and chatter of fellow human beings.
If we try to save our lives by wanting to please the crowd …we will lose our way. We could never pay enough to buy back our purpose and our destiny.
Someone said, “You will never walk in the fear of the LORD until you lose the fear of man”.
The fear of man can separate us from the fear of God.
Don’t be in such a hurry to become popular among men that we are willing to deny our relationship with God.
The lyrics below is an old favorite of Jim Reeves and it’s my confession:
I rather have Jesus than silver or gold. I rather be His than have riches untold.
I rather have Jesus than houses and lands.
I would rather be led by His nail pierced hands than to be a king of a vast domain and beheld in sins dread sway.
I rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today.
I rather have Jesus than worldly applause.
I rather be faithful to his dear cause. I rather have Jesus than world wide things. I rather be true to his holy name.
HE is all I need. HE’S all I need! JESUS is all I need!

It will be awesome if everyone found that out. He is really all that we need. Thanks JT for your continuous support and encouragement

The song by Sinach says:
I know who God says I am, what He says I am
Where He says I’m at, I know who I am
I know who God says I am, what He says I am
Where He says I’m at, I know who I am
I’m working in power, I’m working miracles
I live a life of favour, for I know who I am
I’m working in power, I’m working miracles
I live a life of favour, for I know who I am
