Our Heart Is A Puzzle

Morals are principles we follow that help us to know the difference between right and wrong. Immoral describes someone who has no morals and who doesn’t know what right or wrong means.

Sometimes we say, “Yeah, but God knows my heart” as an excuse to do something immoral hinting that God knows that I am a good person and wouldn’t hold me accountable for my actions….hmm… couldn’t be further away from the truth my dear friends.

Sin has no morals and doesn’t know what right or wrong means. Sin separates us from God and it disrupts our lives creating unnecessary hardships and chaos. And when we become frustrated with the mess our lives are in…we blame others and turn our backs on God.

Don’t be mislead. No one makes a fool of God. To anyone who knows right and does not do it …has made a deliberate choice against themselves. Sin has no morals. Period. Full stop.

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually.” Genesis 6:5

The easiest way to tell the difference between those who fear God and those who make a choice to walk in rebellion is observing their choices and demeanor. It’s that simple.

Jeremiah 17: 9-10 says, “The HEART is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out. But I, God, search the HEART and examine the MIND, I get to the HEART of the human. I get to the ROOT of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they PRETEND to be.”

The truth is, our heart is a puzzle and no one can figure it out but God, not even us. It is hopelessly dark and deceitful. We don’t act and live immoral and believe we have a clean heart. When we say, “Yeah but God knows my heart” it should make us fearful that God knows our heart. God will hold us accountable as He searches our hearts and examine our mind. God treats us as we really are, and not who we pretend to be.

We are judged by our actions not by our intentions.

Let’s encourage and build up each other to get back into the right standing with God. No one is immune from sin … we are each other’s keeper. We are not that powerful to blow God’s plans for our lives. Let’s hold hands and build a bridge for all of us to cross over.
