EASTER is All About The Resurrected Christ

As Christians and believers in Jesus Christ, our faith and belief are rooted in Jesus’s resurrection. Easter is huge for us as followers of Jesus Christ, it’s a celebration that even death and the tomb couldn’t hold Him. The Bible says that Mary Magdalene came to the tomb where Jesus was buried and found it empty. An angel told her that Jesus has risen just as He had boldly announced before His death.

^“For if, while WE WERE GOD’S ENEMIES, we were reconciled to him through THE DEATH of his Son, how much more, having been RECONCILED, shall we be saved through his life!” Romans 5:10 — meaning — God chose to bless us despite the fact that we do not deserve it.

It is through Faith (which is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God) that we are forgiven of our sins (willful disobedience).

Satan looks for every reason why we should not be forgiven. He accuses us and reminds us constantly of our wrongs. But, God who is rich in showing compassion and forgiveness towards us even though He has the power to punish us…makes a public disgrace of Satan’s accusations. Someone said, “When Satan comes knocking, allow God to open the door.”

We need a Savior because the guilt that comes after we have sinned is just too much for any human being to carry. Jesus took on the form of man and went to the cross and paid the price in full once and for all. Job 19:25 NIV says, “As for me, I know that my Vindicator is alive; And He, the Last One, will take his stand on the soil.”

Easter marks the Resurrection of Jesus Christ … and the next big Promised Event is His Return.

Revelation 22:12 says, “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.”

Here my friends is the true meaning of Easter…it’s not about the Easter bunny or eggs…it’s about the Lamb of God who takes away our wrongs and makes them right.
