What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do

When your life is going in circles and you know that you are not making any progress …. it can be a difficult honest conversation to have with yourself or anyone else. Very few people have the nerve to say ‘I am not doing well’; and if they do…it’s because they have already given up hope that their life can actually make a 360 degree turn around.

When you feel hopeless you feel very unhappy because there seems to be no possibility of life ever having a happy ending. There are things that happen in life that can break your spirit and cause you to feel like a failure. It’s a tough experience to work through alone and without the support of a healthy team.

Someone who’s hopeless believes that nothing good can happen and a happy ending seems impossible. Everyday there are people who feel like they are just trying to hold all the fragile pieces together. And it gets worse if they begin questioning themselves and anxiety answers back.

Even if people can afford the best therapist, they will fail to get the satisfaction to life’s complicated issues if all they want to do is to complain about their ex, or to talk about how to get others to change, or if they want to keep playing the victim role.

Question #1: What do you do when you don’t know what to do?

I really believe there are some people out there who really don’t know what to do when they don’t know what to do … so I will offer some suggestions.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. God is the One who keeps us on track so it’s important to listen for His LOVING voice. God NEVER destroys our confidence…nor does He turn His face from us…regardless of ALL our faults and blunders. If you are hearing negative voices … BE WARNED – It isn’t God’s voice. He DID NOT DIE for those who have it all together.

Don’t assume you know it all. Trust God with your journey. He was the ONE who mapped it all out before you were even born. Nothing has taken Him by surprise. He knows the intersection, the four-way stops, the exits, and the U-turns. He’s Got YOU! He’s better than your GPS Tracker. He finds you wherever you are.

Believe you me … it’s a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. God is strong and He wants us to be strong so that we will be able to stand up to everything that the Devil throws at us. The reason we may feel hopeless and helpless is because we are not equipped to withstand the attacks of the Devil. God is strong and He wants us to be strong – it’s a COMBO DEAL (God and You) or you are on your own.

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get. Two is better than one … if one falls down, one can help the other up. It’s the power of the THREE Cord – God, you, and the other one who is supporting you in prayer. You are up against far more than you can handle. Let WISDOM prevail over pride.

Question #1: What do you do when you don’t know what to do? Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

Question #2: Are you ready to do what you know is right? The CHOICE is always personal.

God sees your sufferings and have heard your cry, He knows the pain, and have come down to rescue you from the weight of life and it’s up and down. And the best part is, He will bring you into a good place of hope and great joy.

So the people who believed, when they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and that He looked with compassion on their suffering, then they bowed their heads and worshiped the LORD.

By worrying we can’t add a single hour in our life. Matthew 6:25-27

Start by reading the Book of Proverbs…it’s a book of wisdom and wise counsel.
