The Whys to MY Writing Styles

As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, friend … I value all my experiences in life. Every joy, mistake, season, lesson, pain, heartbreak were heavy doors leading me into rooms where the person I am today was sitting waiting for my arrival. My experiences have taught me that when I walk through a storm it’s important to hold my head up high even though I may be afraid of the dark.

I must keep HOPE ALIVE because like everything else — there’s a story to be told. If I pass or fail a lesson in the School of Hard Knocks … you will read about it the next day because I know someone will be helped by my experience.

If you have been reading my chapters from Day 1 you will know by now that my writing subjects have been on family life, inspirational messages and resetting our thought patterns. When you have discovered your gift, you will feel a sense of freedom to share it. It’s the kind of gift that keeps on giving because our misfortune, pain, fear, near death experience, or our weaknesses were not intended to be written in SECRET pocket diaries.

Jesus told Simon – “Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his best to separate all of you from me, like chaff from wheat. Simon, I’ve prayed for you in particular that you not give in or give out. When you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start.” Luke 22: 31-32 MSG

Our encounters in life were designed to strengthen us and to give others HOPE … NEVER to give in or give up. EVERY thing we experience in life has PURPOSE, and that purpose is seen in how well we use it for the good of others. There’s no room for jealousy of anyone else’s gifts or for pride to enter anyone’s heart by how well they wear their gifts. IT IS A GIFT! No one earned it or bought it with a price.

The first time I discovered my gift was just four years ago and since then it remains the greatest moment in my life. I appreciated the benefits of growing up with a Mother whose faith in God kept her children safe and protected us from the negative impact of an absent yet present father (too complicated to write about if I’m trying to keep it short). My Mom was my first teacher in the School of Hard Knocks as I studied at her feet watching her maneuver her way through life with total dependence on God. I write about her and her faith both of which are responsible for my faith in God.

I write about my candid moments as a Mom. Life’s lessons on marriage. Leaving a Godly legacy for the next generations. Friendships/relationships (quality vs quantity) – all of which are great opportunities for learning. Putting my world together they have provided me with a lot of writing material. I’m never stuck for writing or reading materials.

If you understand your REASONS for your seasons in life you will never get lost in one season. Don’t plan to follow the crowd … its way overcrowded. We are NOT heading to the Food Market. Life is single lane with strict laws to protect others from crashing into you and you running people over.

Life is limited to one visit on earth per person … don’t be a clone … everyone is writing a different story based on the gift that was placed within them . If your story is identical to your BFF then one person is missing their assignment.

I trust I have cleared up on why I focus my writing on material that relates to family life, inspirational words and resetting YOUR THOUGHT patterns. ALWAYS KEEPING IT POSITIVE IS MY GOAL. The right word at the right time is like a custom-made piece of jewelry. Nothing to add or nothing to take away.
