Women of Worth, God has called us to be Warriors. Do not be afraid for God will do whatever we request of Him. God has engraved your name in the palm of His hand, and you are worth more than rubies and precious stones.
As I share my cup of tea with you may you find your strength to go to battle. You are strong enough to face it all, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.
Life has handed me my ‘cup of tea’ that I’ve been slowly sipping while writing from my viewpoint. It sometimes feels like a Joshua moment where God told him that Moses His servant is now dead, and he is called to continue the journey into the Promised Land that was promised to his ancestors. And the bonus was, no one will stand up against him for the rest of his life. So here I am sipping my cup of tea and meditating.
God has a way of calling us out and placing us in the eye of the public while we are fighting our giants. It’s intimidating to have a public fight when you feel inadequate to stand up against the enemy. It’s like an all-out wrestling match and people are making huge bets on who’s going to win. It becomes a Faith vs Reality contest. Faith vs Reality are two well known names in the fighting arena, and both are standing and fiercely scrutinizing each other.
God is saying, “You are going to get ready to cross over this River with all of your possessions I have given you. I will give you every place where you set your foot. The places of disappointment, harassment, opposition, intimidation, hostility — I have given you courage to move forward and none of these situations will be able to stand up against you the rest of your life. You and your household are going on to the Promised Land.”
As believers, our very public fights have been strategically setup by God to make a public showdown of our crazy reality. It’s not the size of our giants but the size of our faith that matters. Reality is no match for our faith in God. More and more I am at a place in my life where I firmly believe that the ugly reality fights whether it’s health related, finances, family’s life, court battles etc … are what God turns into our pillars of strength.
It’s easy to become disenchanted with the things we see and know, but it’s the only way for God to make a public display of His strength that lies within you.
When God says, I will be with you as I was with Moses and Joshua, you know that God has allowed those public fights to show off the power of a single prayer hitting the right target. God never leaves us in the heat of the battle. He says to us — “Be strong and courageous.”
It’s honorable to be chosen by God to participate in a public fight. It means that God has confidence in you that you will not cry, or blame Him, nor would you quit while on the front line. God only chooses His strongest soldiers to go to war. He doesn’t choose everyone to go into the battlefield.
It’s an honor for God to confidently say to you, ‘You are going to cross over this River. Be strong and courageous because you will LEAD your family to inherit the good land I vowed to your ancestors. Get going. I am giving you victory every round of the fight as I have promised you. It’s all yours. I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to give it EVERYTHING you have. Put your heart into the fight. Make sure you listen and obey My voice. Don’t get sidetracked by the voices that surround you. Don’t for one minute take your eyes off Me and what I am doing.’
Then you will win the war and victory will be yours. March on with strength and courage!
Enjoy every sip of your tea.
Standing on the promises of GOD. It really is so sweet to trust in JESUS! Blessings! ๐ ๐ญ
