Sing Sing Sing!

Sometimes when I can’t find the right words to express my thoughts … I usually find them in songs. Singing usually resets my thoughts and bring me back to the place where I celebrate Who God is and What He has done.
2 Samuel 12:20 says, “Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the House of the LORD and worship.”
What do you do when there are no more words to write? Sometimes it takes only one good song to reset my thoughts and like a happy bird my heart keeps on singing.
Today, I’m sharing three of my favorite songs with the hope that you will know what I do when thoughts don’t meet the pen.

Hope the lyrics bless you.

Jesus at the Centre
Jesus at the center of it all
Jesus at the center of it all
From beginning to the end
It will always be, it’s always been You
Jesus, Jesus
Nothing else matters
Nothing in this world will do
‘Cause Jesus You’re the center
Everything revolves around You
Jesus You
At the center of it all
At the center of it all
Jesus be the center of my life
Jesus be the center of my life
From beginning to the end
It will always be, it’s always been You
Jesus, Jesus
Nothing else matters
Nothing in this world will do
‘Cause Jesus You’re the center
Everything revolves around You
Jesus You
From my heart to the Heavens
Jesus be the center
It’s all about You
Yes it’s all about You
Jesus be
One Day at a Time
I’m only human, I’m just a woman.
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am.
Show me the stairway, I have to climb.
Lord for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.

Just give me the strength

To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.
Do you remember, when you walked among men?
Well Jesus you know if you’re looking below
It’s worse now, than then.
Cheating and stealing, violence and crime
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.

Redeemer
Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide ’til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well I know my redeemer lives
I know my redeemer lives
All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my redeemer lives, yeah
The very same god that spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victory
Now I know my redeemer lives
I know my redeemer lives
Let all creation testify (aaah)
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer, he lives
To take away my shame
And he lives forever, I’ll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life he gave
But now he’s alive and (aaah)
There’s an empty grave
And I know my Redeemer (lives) he lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify (aah)
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer, i know
(My redeemer lives) I know my redeemer lives
I know, know, know, know (my redeemer lives)
I know that I know, that I know, that I know, that I know
(I know my redeemer lives) my redeemer lives
Because he lives I can face tomorrow (he lives)
Whoo, whoo, yeah, yeah, yeah
I know, I know (he lives) he lives, he lives, yeah, yeah
I spoke with him this morning (he lives) he lives, he lives
The tomb is empty, he lives, he lives
I’m gonna tell everybody, yeah
