The year 2020 can be named The Year of the Mask. A mask protects you from being infected by others, as well as protecting others from being infected by you. It can also be worn as a disguise to hide your identity. As the coronavirus quickly became a pandemic people became highly creative with masks manufacturing them in all colors, shapes, and patterns.
Masks can also be worn as a disguise. You know what else can be masked? Jealousy. Jealousy is a mask worn by people who are fearful that there is only room for one person on the stage and somebody is already sitting there. People are jealous of relationships, people’s possessions, experiences that are shared, strength shown in adversity, success stories, etc. etc.
Therefore, it is important from the start of the day before your feet hit the ground running that you confidently communicate with God and secure your position with Him. There will always be someone whose goal is to attack your credibility because they cannot stand seeing you winning. Their mission is to flatten the curve.
Do not let the evil you hear, see, or imagine make you put a question mark where God has already put a period. Nothing can possibly stop God’s plan for your life.
Where there is jealousy there will be conflict. Your ability to escape or avoid someone’s distressing spirit is knowing that God has many ways to get you to your designated end. Pray always and learn to forgive quickly. God amazingly and supernaturally turns what was meant to upset you into your biggest win for the whole world to see.
God is the same God in the fire. As soon as opposition arises, and the attacks are fast and furious God shows you the escape route.
God is the same God by the well. Water cooler gossip can be intimidating as everything about your past and your flaws are discussed. It is significant to remind yourself that God met a woman at well and He kept it positive with her.
God is the same God in the storm. When the storms of life come, and the sounds echoes through the night – God will either calm you or calm the storms.
God is the same God when the promise looks a long way off. Do not forget this one thing – With God a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like one day. Now, you try and do the math. Impossible? But God!
God is the same God in every situation. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow – each day has enough trouble of its own.
No one can tell your story so tell it yourself. No one can write your story so write it for yourself. If you keep looking at things that do not make you happy, you will never be happy. Your life is your message to the world. Make sure it is inspiring.
