September 2020 a Month to Remember
Today’s Topic: A Day of New Beginnings
So many times, we try to ignore what our hurting heart is telling us as the old feels normal and it is less complicated than going into the unknown.
If you fail to find the courage to let go of the things that are no longer working because you believe it’s just too much work to do something different then the sadness will eventually take a toll on you.
Don’t live January 1973 to September 2020 – 47 times and call it a Life.
You have only three choices:
- Take it
- Leave it
- Change it
Every day is a new beginning. When morning BREAKS it introduces a NEW BEGINNING. It’s ANOTHER opportunity to take a leap of faith and trust God to teach you to fly.
If the roof of the house is leaking and no one is taking ownership to do repairs – the house will eventually cave in. (Ecclesiastes 10:18). Adulting means behaving maturely or acting like an adult. As grown ups someone must take the necessary steps to fix what’s not working. Small steps each day is better than sitting alone and complaining.
No matter how hard the past was, and maybe the present still doesn’t feel terrific – stay disciplined and be of good courage . Allow God to do what’s good in His sight, and for you.
Complaining about the misfortunes of life is like hitting your heard against a wall. Nothing changes except that your head is still hurting.
Stop now … no one can do this thing call LIFE without God. Stop running! Stop complaining! Choose God!
Psalms 56:3, 8 -9 the Psalmist David puts it this way: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. You know I am very upset. You know how much I have cried. Surely you have kept an account of all my tears. I know that when l call for help, my enemies will turn and run. I know that because God is with me!”
Psalms 127: 1-2 “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.”
Prayer Time: Father, thank You for my new beginnings. It’s a new beginning where I will not eat the bread of anxiety and fear. Help me to stay disciplined and be of good courage and allow You to do what is good in Your judgment. You give your beloved children sleep. I will go to bed and sleep well at nights. In Jesus Name, Amen
