September 2020 a Month to Remember
Thank you for another week of great conversations.
Today’s topic: Yes, help is on its way!
No one gets the option to handpick the kind of lemons they prefer in life, but the success story lies in what God can do with the lemons. Sometimes, lemons come a dime a dozen, but you can find ways to overcome the misery and prevent it from turning into something that keeps you bitter forever.
Lemons are – heartbreak, failure, disagreements, confrontation, regret, stressful situations – sounds pretty much like an average day in a human’s life. I hope this doesn’t cause any further anxiety in you but let me be honest with you – there are some lemon seasons that stay longer than others.
When Satan sees your weaknesses and he figures out your pain threshold, he camps out just waiting for another chance to hit where it hurts the most. And he does it with extreme precision. However, when your relationship with God is healthy He comes alongside you strengthening you.
God is not blind to your tears or deaf to your prayers. He sees. He hears. He delivers on His promises.
Isaiah 41:9-13 says, “I have chosen you and have not cast you away. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
You will not be disgraced by the lemons – God knows how to use them for motivation. God is bigger than those targeted areas of your life. God is bigger than Satan’s best shots at you. If God brings you to it – He will bring you THROUGH it.
PRAYER Time: LORD, I’m only human, I’m just a woman. Help me believe in what I could be and all that I am. Show me the stairway, I have to climb. LORD for my sake, teach me to take ONE DAY AT A TIME. You are bigger than those targeted areas of my life and no shot that Satan takes at me You cannot defend me. Thank You Lord that help is on its way. In Jesus Name, Amen
Finally, thank you friends for allowing me the privilege to inspire you. Let’s make September 2020 a month to remember.
- God is bigger than your past – you were built to last.
- God is bigger than your disappointment – everyday is a day of new beginnings.
- God is bigger than resentment – guard your heart.
- God is bigger than your lemons – help is on its way.
Psalms 121:1-2 ‘I look up to the hills, but where will my help really come from? My help will come from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth.’
