Making September 2020 a Month to Remember

Today’s Topic: Oh NO not so Fast!

God’s favor comes with conditions – relationship, obedience, and giving God something to work with. God is not bias. What He does for one – He can also do for anyone. God loves us with an unending love and only wants the best for us.

Who God favors; no man can curse. Who God curses; no man can bless.

Your everyday choices either position you to obtaining God’s favor or God’s wrath – it’s that simple. Like any other human relationships – you have friends with benefits and friends without.

When you are in a relationship with God you make a commitment to take Him at His Word. When He shows you who He is – you believe Him the first time. The rest is yours and His story.

It’s no laughing matter when you double dip loving Him and flirting with the things He hates. God will not be mocked. Favor vs Curse.

Step 1 – Stand on God’s Word – It’s His Love Language.

Step 2 – Pray the scriptures back to God – That’s your Love Language.

Step 3 – Stay strong in faith. It’s a mutual agreement.

Isaiah 54:17 says, “But no weapon used against you will succeed. People might bring charges against you. But you will prove that they are wrong. Those are the things I do for my servants. I make everything right for them,” announces the Lord.

Numbers 22:12 says, “But God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them. You are not to curse this people, for they are blessed.”

Numbers 23:20 Balaam says, “I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.”

God protects you from what’s ahead, behind, or beneath you. He defends you and keeps watch over you day and night. He blesses and no one can change it. It’s a friendship that comes with benefits.

So, for anyone trying to curse a child of God they may as well get used to seeing you blessed beyond measure.

Slow down – not so fast – this only comes to those who have the friendship’s benefit package. Anyone else – IT’S JUST MERE WORDS. No guarantee it will work.

You don’t need the Pope, a priest, a pastor, a president, or a family member to bless you – you only NEED GOD.

And Jabez CALLED ON The GOD of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So, God granted him what he requested.

PRAYER TIME: Father, thank you that Your blessing makes me rich and adds no sorrow. As a child of God, I will continue to walk knowing I will be protected from all kinds of curses. I want to take a moment to simply say, ‘thank you for everything both seen and not seen that You have protected me from. Keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain. I choose to find comfort in my relationship with You.’ In Jesus Name, Amen
