You will Laugh Again
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
The last time you felt like you just could not go on, but you lived to recover from the nightmare of the episode – that was God undergirding you with His strength. Strength grows when it seems like you are falling apart but the presence of God stands with you and keeps you going.
Faith in God means you are willing to wait it out and trust God’s timing. We usually grow through those things we go through in life which means we are more powerful than we think. Be brave. Be courageous. Do not be afraid and do not be discouraged. The LORD is close to all those who are brokenhearted and protects those who feel defeated in spirit.
Abraham trusted the Lord, and the Lord made it possible for him and Sarah to have their promised child. We will believe whatever God has promised us until we die. We must be like people who see things far away. We must trust God to bring all our future plans into alignment with His will for our lives.
Quote: “You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is to calm yourself. The storm will pass.”
One thing is unchangeable in the journey – God promises that He will clothe us with strength and dignity, and we will laugh at the days to come.
The lyrics to ‘He’s Been Faithful’ has been such a huge encouragement in my life. I trust you will be inspired.
In my own suffering through every pain every tear there’s a God who’s been faithful to me. When my strength was all gone, when my heart had no song – still in love He’s proved faithful to me. Every word He’s promised is true – what I thought was impossible I’ve seen my God do
He’s been faithful, faithful to me. Looking back, He’s love and mercy I see. Though in my heart I have questioned and failed to believe – He’s been faithful, faithful to me
When my heart looked away – the many times I could not pray, still my God was faithful to me. The days are spent so selfishly – reaching out for what pleased me even then God was faithful to me
Every time I come back to Him – He is waiting for open arms and I see once again
He’s been faithful, faithful to me. Looking back, He’s love and mercy I see though in my heart I have questioned even failed to believe – yet He’s been faithful, faithful to me.”
PRAYER TIME: Father, thank You for clothing your children in strength and dignity. We will laugh at the days to come. Looking back, we have proven Your love and mercy and Your faithfulness. Thank you that we are not quitting or looking to other strange gods. We will trust Your timing. In Jesus Name, Amen
