The Unnamed Chapters of LIFE
Life at times feels like reading one gigantic book of your own life’s story hoping you can get to the last chapter where it says, “And the hand of the LORD was on her life giving her singleness of heart to obey His commandments.” In reality our life is like a never-ending book of many mesmerizing chapters carefully orchestrated by God Himself.
Sadly, many chapters would not have a title until much later as God’s plan unfolds. Don’t stop writing because you come across a few mockers. The LORD is gracious and merciful and will not turn His face away from you. We are all writing our own story everyday and we must finish leaving an intriguing documentary for others to read and to be inspired.
“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.” Many of our chapters in life will get written while facing the eye of the storm but the most intriguing part of a story is when there’s a plot twist. I’ve discovered that storms and plot twist can work in your favor. They give you singleness of heart redirecting your attention to the real meaning of life where God listens to your heart and you get time to connect with Him.
God does speak to us in the storms. As you write He makes it plain giving you hope for a brighter tomorrow. The unnamed chapters in your life reminds you when you were too scared to do something brave, but you trusted God to give you new beginnings. And just like that without God asking anyone permission your life took on a whole new meaning.
God has a unique design for each one of our lives. Copying someone else’s vision is dangerous to your destiny.
David says in Psalms 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
Don’t become frazzled and disenchanted with chapters that don’t have titles. Keep on writing until it ends with the words – I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. Get ready to move from a place of uncertainty to a place of complete dependency on God.
The Bible tells us that God has a plan … just ONE plan for your life. You are not here to impress anyone. Be single minded when it comes to honoring God. Regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope .
Every chapter tells a part of who you were and how you survived. It takes courage to grow up and be who you are so be grateful that you didn’t quit.
PRAYER TIME: Thank you Jesus for giving us the courage to keep going despite what our heart wants us to believe. Thank You for seeing our full potential and giving us a bright future. In Jesus Name, Amen
