2020 was NOT a year for us to forget, ignore, be mad about, or delete. 2020 proved to us that we are resilient human beings who can be brave and terrified both at the same time. Many days we were emotionally challenged but we took baby steps and kept on going despite the fears and the uncertainties.
Regardless of whatever our varied opinions are about 2020 – the truth is, we showed up each day refusing to become a victim of an unhealthy mind.
There’s nothing magical about the New Year 2021. If God allows us to be alive for all the 365 days ahead of us know for a certainty, He has a plan for your life and for mines.
Breaking News: Satan also has a plan – so be ready for both. Just be wise enough to know which plan to resist and which one to embrace. As grownups, let’s purpose to hold ourselves accountable with the help of God to leave regret, pain, anger and bitterness behind.
2021 presents to you another opportunity to stand before an open door to FREEDOM of choices. Choose wisely! Your thought patterns, your words, your emotions, and what you do with your personal life will ultimately influence the level of success, satisfaction, and happiness you will attain in 2021.
Your values will be mirrored by your daily routines without you uttering one word. It’s the ‘show me don’t tell me lifestyle magazine.’
Happiness cannot be found in a new year, or a new house, or a new country. It doesn’t matter who tell you what you can or can’t do – if God says ‘yes’ then no one can say ‘no’ to your future destiny but you.
Some people invest so much time trying to impress others that they are happy. What good is driving a beautiful car with malfunctioning brakes? Something’s got to give.
A life without God is a wasted life. God knows what He is doing, and when you trust Him , His peace will guard your heart and mind. God’s way is perfect! His peace is a gift. God knows we have been through a lot in 2020 but they that know their God came out stronger and not bitter.
Someone said, “If I’m wrong about God then I wasted my life. If you’re wrong about God, then you wasted your eternity.’
There are NEW chapters to write. Stop re-writing the same pain, anger, drama, and old stories. Time to change both the Title of the song and the chorus.
Your runway is getting shorter every year. What the New Year holds starts with what you are bringing with you from the old year. There’s no magic to four digits – 2021. The magic depends on who or what you make your god.
The times we are living in – GOOD will be called ‘NOT cool or VERY old fashioned’ and EVIL will be called ‘ACCEPTABLE and NORMAL behavior.’ BE WISE! CHOOSE CAREFULLY.
Psalms 92:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.
PRAYER TIME: Heavenly Father, thank you for 2020. Through it all we have learned to trust You in the midst of the fears and uncertainties. Thank You for holding us together and for showing us your mercies which were new every morning. Teach us to number our days IN 2021 so that we can make wiser choices. Our happiness is found only in knowing You and experiencing Your true peace. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Happiness CANNOT be found in a New Year, a spouse, a new house, or living in a new country. Happiness is revealed in our daily choices. A life without God is a wasted life. God knows what He is doing, and when you trust Him , His peace will guard your hearts and minds.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you; the LORD lifts His countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen and Amen.
