This is the Year you will believe in yourself and achieve your greatest accomplishment!
A New Year is here and believe you me – ‘We’ve got this one!’ Today, January 4th means that the first 3 days have already been filed away into our filing cabinets so let’s get it together now. No more talking about your goals and your dreams. Wake up and let’s take the chances we didn’t take before.
Old ways, past stories, grievances, blame game, little irritants, competing, hating, jealousy and all the junk will not contribute to the energy that is needed for success. God whispers to us it’s time to trust me. Every year comes full of potential, promises, dreams, and opportunities just waiting for those who will take the risk to grab a hold of them.
Forget the reasons why it didn’t work before and say, ‘yes Lord I am going after my dreams.’
God is waiting to back up what you dare to believe. Your mind will believe everything you tell it so trust God and choose to press pass those things that has held you in bondage for years. God is the light for your pathway. Allow Him to lead as He instructs you. Everything you need to press forward is never found in your limited strength but in Christ alone your hope, your light, your strength, and your song in the late midnight hour.
Psalms 27 “The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall, I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to destroy me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.”
Your confidence should always be rooted and fixed in Christ alone. He will not make you ashamed. He is your helper. 2021 is the year we are going to dig deeper into our bucket list and pull out those dreams we dropped inside of the bucket.
Remain confident of this – you will see the goodness of the Lord this year. Wait for the Lord. Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Many times, you will find yourself FAITHing it – embrace it anyway.
Someone said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Let that first step be a step of FAITH. If you wait to feel equipped – you will never make one step forward because it’s never about you – it’s about God who will ultimately get the glory.
Every year your runway gets shorter. Stop holding back on those dreams you have been carrying around year after year. Faith says, “Even if I can’t, God can.” I hope you are convinced that it’s outrageous to try and do life without God.
Isaiah 41:10 says, “I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’ Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I will give you strength. I will help you. I will hold you steady, keeping a firm grip on you.”
The LORD never faints or grows weary of you bringing all your requests to Him. He increases your strength, so you can finish strong. 2021 is the year to worry less about people and spend more time focusing on your goals.
PRAYER TIME: Father God, thank you for a brand-new year where we can fearlessly do the best we can with Your help. Let us start and finish strong. Teach us to trust the process of grabbing those secret things we deposited into our bucket list. We let go of the excuses that once held us back and we are going for everything that was predestined by you. In Jesus Name, Amen
