A Different Spirit
2021 clock is ticking away as we have arrived at Day #11. How well are you doing? As grownups we come to the complete understanding that a change of year doesn’t change our lives. It’s your attitude towards life that can shift the environment you live in.

Don’t spend another year murmuring , grumbling, blaming everyone and everything for your lack of growth. Are you doing everything you possibly should be doing for a different result this year? Do you have a victim mentality thinking, well, if somebody only gave me this, I’d be fine? This year we will either grow or choose to remain unchanged.
None of us can change our past but never let your past define who you are. No one is too young or too old to dream again. Some goals maybe a little more challenging at the beginning to accomplish but with a positive mindset, the impossible becomes possible. Change your attitude and you will change the way you look at every assignment.
Pace yourself. You are in no competition with anyone. The goal is personally to be better than you were last year. God’s mercy is always bigger than any of our mistakes or our past. Having a different spirit is key to the altitude anyone of us will ever reach in life. Be brave. Be bold. If God can tell the sun where to hide till morning – He can kickstart your new beginnings in 2021.
The obstacles and challenges you see today choose to have a different spirit towards them. I will agree with you that there are some things that can rock our world and life can turn upside-down, but we are not alone during our times of transformation. We are pressing forward with the help of God. Don’t lose hope. Look for the good and trust the process.
Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “The Lord will lead you. He himself is with you. He will not fail you or leave you. Don’t worry. Don’t be afraid!”
Above all else, guard your hearts. When you don’t know what to do, God will direct your steps. Trust God no matter what your mind tells you. Choose to have a different spirit. Happiness comes when we stop complaining about life. Let your actions reflect your words. A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink.
I repeat – Pace yourself. You are in no competition with anyone. The goal is personally to be better than you were last year. Never let your mistakes nor your past define you.
PRAYER TIME: Father, thank you for giving us a different spirit in 2021. We will not be intimidated with the size of the mountains we have to climb. We will dream again. Thank you for another year to fulfill our destiny. We are confident that when you step into the picture, miracles happen. Thank you for loving us unconditionally and giving us another day to start over again. In Jesus Name, Amen
