Today is Psalms Wednesday
There are forty (43) verses in Psalms 107 so grab a hold of your Bible and let’s read together.
Psalm 107 encourages us to be thankful to God for His steadfast love, and for His wonderful works. It’s a good thing to be thankful to God each and every day. On any given day we can hear problems, problems, and more problems which can all seem so overwhelming leaving us feeling depressed and anxious every minute of the day. But the Bible encourages us that, in every situation, we can be thankful.
Maybe if we can stop for a moment and count our blessings we will see just how much we actually have to be thankful for. God is good, and we can trust Him. No matter what we have done, or what we face, His mercy endures forever. God’s mercy never runs out.
Psalm 107 speaks on how God delivers us from our difficulties, helps us when we are hungry and thirsty, and leads us to a safe place. He speaks peace to us when our hearts are aching. He delivers us from those things that holds us in bondage. If we are sick, He sends His Word and heals us. He protects us. And, He calms the storm.
Today, let us not complain or rehearse all our troubles but choose to reflect on our life and all that God has done for us.
Less we forget – let’s start thanking God and keep on thanking Him until it becomes a habit. He is worthy of it all. He is a good, good God.
Reminder: When you can’t find words to pray – you can always pray the words of a Psalms.
