Thursday Grown Up Conversations

In times like these we need JESUS. Replace fear with thoughts of God and you will start seeing God in everything. We can no longer talk about God but really know God and know His power.

Joshua 24:15”And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

It is human to feel anxious about our future, but God has given us several reminders to BE STILL:

Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the Earth.”

Exodus 14:13 “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.”

Psalms 37:7 “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.”

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Romans 15:13 “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless thee and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace.”

Psalm 16:8 “I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”

Prayer Time: Father, thank you that you are always with us and we will not be shaken. May your face shine on us and give us peace. In Jesus Name, Amen
