Psalms Wednesday
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Thoughts: The Bible never changes, but it changes us when we read it.
- God will meet our needs.
- He will give us peace.
- He will restore us.
- He will lead us down a path of righteousness and a place of rest.
- If God could put our blessings in a cup, they would run over the top. Goodness and mercy will be following us everywhere we go.
- It’s a blessing that we cannot afford to live without.
Prayer Time: Father, thank you that your love for us is unchanging. We will fear no evil: for you are always with us. You remember that we are human, and your mercy extends to our children’s children giving to us rest from the storms of life as we listen to you and obey your voice. In Jesus Name, Amen
