Don’t Lose Your Confidence
When fear thumps on our heart’s door, we will do almost anything not to answer. Some people wear disguising mask, some have long internal dialogues, while others will do outrageous things just to silence the sound of fear. We have pretty much become experts in how we personally choose to respond to fear.
Emotions run high when fear is banging on the door and it paralyzes our thinking when it appears unannounced. Fear is contagious but so is courage. Our courage helps others to be more brave, and take a deep breath and say, “God, I know you will help me through this.”
We can look at fear either as a tragedy or a pathway to destiny. Things may be scary now, but it never stays that way. You become stronger when you learn to deal with fear rather than to avoid or mask it. God has purpose for everything that comes to us. You start with one step at a time. Breathe. And let courage teach you things about yourself that you didn’t know before.
God speaks to those who take time to listen to Him. The voices you hear will determine the direction you are walking in. If you focus on hurt, you will continue to suffer at the hands of your enemy. God speaks all the time so set your ears towards what the Word of God is saying and not the words of your pain.
Gratitude opens our eyes while finding a resting place. Fear is intimated with a spirit of gratitude. The more I am thankful is the more peaceful my life becomes. We must learn to pray about everything. Pray over everything. And pray until fear ends.
When Jesus is standing with you that is way stronger than any magnitude of fear that dares to intimidate you. It’s true we cannot always say that everything is well in all areas of our lives. There will always be storms to face, and sometimes there will be tragedies. But with faith in a loving God and with trust in His divine help, we can confidently say, “It is well, it is well with my soul.”
People who meet you in the moments of your biggest fear should hear Jesus on the inside. When peace like a river, attended my way. When sorrows like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, “It is well, it is well with my soul.”
When life gives us more than we can handle we must not let the chaos keep us from hearing the voice of God. If you are praying about something remember that God has not forgotten you. God says in Daniel 10:12 – “Do not be afraid … for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.”
We may not always understand why God allows certain things to happen, but we can be certain He doesn’t make mistakes. He will come in response to your prayers.
Prayer Time: Father, thank you that we are confident that no circumstances we face are outside out of your control. We will not let the noise of fearful thoughts keep us from hearing your voice. Please calm our minds and heal our pain. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Thankful for the all powerful GOD, Who sees each silent tear and hears each whispered prayer and promises to never leave us or forsake us. 💞 🙇 💝 👭
