Do Not Nurse It!
Unless you change your thinking, you will keep having the same life. Sometimes God knows we won’t move unless circumstances force us to. Psalms 18:19 says, “When I was fenced in, you freed and rescued me because you love me.” Your life is in God’s hand. God chose you! God has a plan!
Weeping may go on for a night, but all nights must end. It takes an incredible amount of strength to pull yourself out of a dark place but the longer you stay there is the more unhappy you will become. Nursing wounds can become very additive as self-destructive. Anyone who sees other people’s faults more than their own will never be a happy person.
It’s important to find solutions and stop rehearsing problems. Some people block their happiness by complaining about everything and everyone. It’s unhealthy to wake up everyday complaining and expect to have a happy life. It’s time to stop nursing wounds and stop believing that others are robbing you of a life you deserve.
Psalm 91:4 says, “He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and wall.”
Think of this as a hen that gathers her chicks under her wings and protects them in time of danger. Say, “God, I don’t know how you’re going to do this, but I can’t wait to see it all unfold.” Whatever the problem is do not nurse it, curse it, or rehearse it. Just hand it over to God and He will reverse it. Pray when you feel like worrying. If you don’t know what to do, it’s time to pray.
Sometimes the walls you build around yourself are the same walls that block your happiness. Stay positive and break the habits of rehearsing your troubles. You might not see change right away, but you will get peace.
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
When you are ready to move on God will cause situations to come together and work in your favor without asking anyone for permission. No one can block your blessings but you. Someone said, “The only difference between a good day and a bad day is our attitude.
Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” It’s time to stop nursing our painful past.
PRAYER TIME: Father, when we are fenced in, you will free us and rescued us because you love us. In Jesus Name, Amen
“Whatever the problem is do not nurse it, curse it, or rehearse it. Just hand it over to God and He will reverse it.”
