Today’s Topic: We Can Make It If We Try Just A Little Harder
Everything in life starts with small beginnings. A tiny seed is dropped in dirt, covered in darkness, and struggle to reach the light every day until it grows into a mighty tree.
We are somewhat like plants just a little more complicated as we have emotions. Our thoughts are the seeds we plant. So be careful what you plant because it will grow into emotions. Your mind is fertile so feed it well.
Today you plant a thought. That thought whether good or bad takes deep roots in the night when the place is dark, and the noise is silenced.
By morning it becomes the new reality. It’s just how scary seeds of thoughts germinate in darkness. You never know what a mighty tree is growing until emotions get attached to them.
Whatever gets inside your mind will either cheer you up or pull you down. Not every thought that comes knocking on your door should be let in.
You can’t prevent thoughts from coming but you do have control over what stays.
Thoughts are powerful. With no resistance you would have given up your rights to who or what takes up residence in your mind.
If you think of blessings, blessings will follow you.
Always believe that you can win the war of the mind. When you fill your mind with positive thoughts your life will start to change. Be careful what you think because your thoughts can create a peaceful atmosphere or sabotage your future.
Quotes:
“Don’t let anyone rent space in your head unless they are a good tenant.”
“Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere.”
We can slip into anxiety mode creating panic attacks simply by becoming anxious over our finances, our families and our futures all things we have no control over.
You are letting these emotions live rent-free in your head. All they’re doing is making mess and destroying your happy place. Don’t give them any more power over you.
Our heavenly Father provides for the birds you hear chirping by your window in the early morning. Think about how much He will provide you that are His children.
Some people are so addicted to an overcrowded mind that they worry if there’s nothing to worry about. The what ifs are serious peace stealers.
In God’s view worrying must be disheartening as it reflects mistrust in His ability.
That situation you have been worrying about hasn’t changed for decades. Do you think worrying helped? I don’t.
Every thought can be changed into a simple prayer. Great way to invest into something that actually works.
PRAYER TIME: Father, we put aside every excuse for worrying and make it submit to your voice. Every thought would now be a prayer. In Jesus Name, Amen
