Today’s Topic: Don’t Be Frazzled
I have found that the very best time for me to relax is when I do not have the time to do it. It’s amazing the things you learn to do in your adult years.
Relax when you don’t have the time.
Life do get a little crazy when there are so many daily demands on us. Some people are addicted to being busy. Anyone who want time must make time.
Give yourself permission to disconnect from the busyness of life. You can’t be healthy for others if you don’t care of yourself.
Relax, take a deep breath and put your mind in cruise control. Adult life teaches us that life will go on with or without you and I.
Here’s a shared secret.
Don’t allow your overactive thoughts to disrupt the way you do life.
If I tell you how I stumbled upon my strength, you may be impressed with the level of my enthusiasm and excitement towards life.
I have had those days when I felt like I couldn’t go on, I’m too tired, I’m having a meltdown, but it was all because I was overthinking and over analyzing everything.
We can either allow those days to keep us down or rise above them.
My life changed when I learned that things don’t always turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should.
I trusted the process of ending one cycle and started refilling my life with more meaningful things. Every next level of your life will demand a different you.
So when people tell me that I’ve changed, I interpret it as a compliment. I became unstoppable after realizing the only way to get to the other level is through growing pains.
I hated every minute of it but I kept on going.
The more Goliaths you face is the less intimated you become.
Prayer works for every symptom you may feel in your mind, body, soul, and spirit.
You alone are no match for Satan or his angels. When you drop on your knees it sends a clear message to Satan that you are not giving up any time soon.
Be grateful that God is holding you together so you will not crumble or fall.
All you need is a little rest and a whole lot of Jesus.
Don’t be a victim of fatigue. We are human beings, not robots. We need to take a break from the busyness of life.
Exhaustion leads to becoming burnt out. Someone said ‘Don’t tell God you have a big problem. Tell your problem that you have a big God.’
Psalms 127:2 “It is useless to get up early and stay up late in order to earn a living. God takes care of his own, even while they sleep.”
God’s got you covered like an Insurance Plan. Stop watching the clock, the calendar, or the timer. Nothing about your life needs to be perfect. Sometimes you just need to slow down and do nothing.
Prayer Time: Father, thank you for taking the wheel and putting our mind in cruise control. Teach is to rest under your watchful eyes. In Jesus Name, Amen.
On Christ the solid rock we stand. All other ground is sinking sand. God loves you.
