Today’s Topic: Perfect Timing
Each day has enough trouble of its own…so do not worry about yesterday or tomorrow. Some mornings our worry deposit bags are filled before our feet even hit the floor.
It is really effortless to worry. Worry comes a dime a dozen because our human nature only see one road to travel on and that’s the road that leads to discouragement.
God calls us to a place of rest. We have to learn new habits if we want different results.
The song writer said it this way … In seasons of distress and grief, my soul has often found relief, and oft escaped the tempter’s snare by thy return, sweet hour of prayer.
One day at a time is what God has suggested for us. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
God doesn’t say ‘Yes’ all the time. He doesn’t say ‘No’ all the time. He doesn’t say ‘Wait’ all the time. He simply says, ‘Trust Me.’
And since God calls us to seek His face, and believe His Word and trust His grace, let’s wait for Him.
Micah 7:7 “So I will look to the Lord for help. I will wait for God to save me. My God will hear me.”
Prayer Time: Father, you have been our hiding place in all generations. We will pray and not lose heart. Yes, you can! In Jesus Name, Amen.
Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean God isn’t working on those things that keeps you up at nights. God loves you.
