January 11 IT’S THE RIGHT TIME FOR A GROWNUP CONVERSATION

Today’s Topic: “World Changers”

The value of your thoughts is priceless … don’t underestimate it.

Growing up whenever I was deep in thought my eldest brother would say to me, ‘A penny for your thoughts.” This always snapped me out of my thinking and bought me back into the present moment.

What does it mean to ponder? To reflect on things happening now or things that happened in the past. To mediate on life in general, or to be in deep thoughts about the future.

The Bible spoke about how Mary kept all that was told to her and pondered on them in her heart. Noah must have had many times of reflection as God gave him instructions in a season of no rain to build an ark. Abraham had years and years to ponder on the promise of having a son sometime without an exact date.

As we take constructive time to ponder on the plan God has for each of us … stay in great expectations. God never disappoints His children.

The devil thought he had one up on us, but God is about to flip the switch on him. We do not always see or understand what God is doing when we feel overwhelmed, and it sure gets scary many times.

Our maturity in God reminds us that God is in total control of all our seasons. Find your peace in knowing He’s got this season of the unknown.

For many of us, we didn’t know how the last years of our lives would have ended …. But God did and together we made it to the other side of fear.

Pondering is not the same as overthinking. Overthinking is to think too much about something in a way that is not helpful. Pondering is reflecting on those things that only God can do when you are caught between a rock and a hard place.

It’s those ‘but only God can make this happen’ plot twist. It’s a God thing that many people who never experience it will ever understand.

Can God use you the least of the least in your little world to be a spreader of positive healthy thoughts? Are you sick and tired of seeing others struggle with toxic thoughts?

Something is about to birth as we walk into 2022 with a new mindset. God needs you.
Someone needs you.

There’s an African Proverb: “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, you haven’t spent a night with a mosquito.”

Never underestimate who God can use to be the next world changer. A World Changer is someone who is committed to do just that, change the world. A World Changer is not someone who blends in with the crowd. A World Changer sticks out like a sore thumb. A World Changer stands up ready to make a difference.

Become the tone of voice you want to hear among your circle of friends.

Prayer Time: Father, thank You that You are a good and faithful God whose promises stand firm forever and ever. Make us world changers to change the lives in the way we think, process things, and achieve things. In Jesus Name, Amen.

You were created to be a World Changer. A life, well lived, is long enough. Become a voice and never an echo. It’s never too late and you are never too old to become better.
