Today’s Topic: ‘Frontline Fighters’
We never realize the value of something until it’s gone. Some people make deliberate choices to depend on human beings to meet their needs…rather than going confidently to the source itself – The Commander in Chief God.
Why? I’m guessing because people will respond faster to their request like a vending or lending machine, or even like a genie in a bottle or a robot that hand delivers their request.
1 John 5:14–15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.”
When we go before God it’s like a parent and child relationship. If the child asks anything that comes in agreement with the parent’s plan and purpose consider it a done deal.
When you go to God … expect God to give you what you ask for in agreement to His Will.
Sometimes the answer may be a deafening silence or a loud ‘yes.’ Whatever the answer may be – know with confidence that it’s in your best interest because God loves you more than any earthly person.
The Bible encourages us to come boldly before God’s throne where we have free access 24 hours 7 days a week. Think of a parent and child relationship… communication is the key to the heart.
In Luke 18:2-4 there was a widow who kept going to the judge and saying, “Make sure that I get fair treatment in court.” For a while the judge refused to do anything. Finally, he said to himself, “Even though I don’t fear God or care about people, I will help this widow because she keeps on bothering me. If I don’t help her, she will wear me out.”
Jesus told this Parable of the Persistent Widow to teach us to always pray, to keep on praying and never give up on prayer.
Let us not become weary. Do not give up. Push Until Something Happens should be our motto.
No one can pray like you for you. You cannot weary God. What concerns you – concerns God.
When you ask someone to pray for you, what are your expectations? I’m guessing that you expect them to pray. But do you know that your Heavenly Father wants to hear your voice.
Everyone else is standing with you, but your voice is what God is listening for. Pray until something happens. Get into the frontline of the battle and fight for your victory. Activate your faith.
Prayer Time: Father, we believe all things are possible. Please give us the patience to wait on you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Prayer has no limits. Prayer changes things. No one will ever convince me that prayer doesn’t work. Stay prayed up my loved ones. It’s your voice God is listening to.
