FEBRUARY 2 – It’s the Right Time for a GROWNUP CONVERSATION

Today’s Topic: ‘We are only Given Today’

When you live with your past mistakes, the weight of it is like filling a bucket with rocks and carrying it everywhere you go.

Today, I want to encourage you to look at your mistakes in life as growth spurts. You do not have to feel trapped or stay trapped in your story. You don’t have to hide from God … so what’s the point in carrying weighty mistakes around like a bird caught in a cage.

There is a brighter future for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Be wise, and set your heart on believing that everything is going to work out in your favor.

Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God is very good and kind! He loved us very much. Because of our sins, we were dead in our spirits. But God gave us a new life, because we are united with Christ. Yes, God has saved you because he is so kind.”

If God gave you a new life – don’t stay trapped in your past mistakes or failures. Satan is merciless and he does a great job convincing us that life will never be the same.

God has not given to you a spirit of fear. He has given you a sound mind to trust Him to the end. It’s not a bad life, they all were learning curves.

What God wants to do in your life is not dependent on how you see yourself or how others see you. Life is single lane. Your life must go on. Be strong and courageous.

You must know when enough is enough and allow maturity to snap you out of Satan’s lies. The clock keeps ticking and you must get to your end on time.

C. S. Lewis says, ‘There would be no sense in saying you trusted Jesus if you would not take His advice.”

God is very good and kind to you. You are one decision away from a completely different way of doing life. God has forgiven you – now forgive yourself.

Prayer Time: Father, thank you that we do not have to carry around our mistakes. We place them under our feet and use them as our stepping stones. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Tomorrow is not promised. Eternity is at hand. Only God can save us from our past. Stay blessed. Stay strong. Stay focused.
