Wise People Avoid Arguments

Have you ever had to interact with someone who deliberately annoys you and tries to make you behave aggressively?

Proverbs 29:11 says, “A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.”

Quote: “Maturity is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace, mind, self-respect, values, morals, and self-worth.”

Sometimes the most amazing thing you can do is to ignore and don’t waste time getting muddy and dirty in the troubled waters.

If people want to see you as a good person, they will. If they want to see you as a bad person, absolutely nothing you can do to stop them. There’s a role for everyone we meet in life.

William James said, “The secret of wisdom is knowing what to overlook.” You have to learn how to let arguments go! Some things are just not worth the fight.

Prayer Time: Father, teach me to be gentle and let all bitterness and anger be put far away from me. In Jesus Name, Amen

I’m closing with the scriptures.
Romans 12:14-19

“Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath.

Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody.

Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do.

“I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”

Closing thought: Knowing what to overlook is wisdom. May we desire wisdom.

    1. Good morning Sister… I have learned to never replay hurtful words and memories. Delete! Delete! Delete! God keeps those whose mind is stayed on Him. Have a beautiful day ♥️
