GROWN UP CONVERSATIONS with JUNE DOYLE

“JUST DO WHAT GOD EXPECTS YOU TO DO.”

By the time young children turn three years of age, they begin asking you “why” in response to nearly everything you tell them.

God wants us to come and reason together. Isaiah 1:18

Sure we feel weak when going through an extremely difficult situation. We get tired, we get angry, overwhelmed, and we begin to wonder if we will ever make it through all of this.

So what does God want us to learn when we can’t make sense of whatever is happening in our lives?

2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 18 says,

“We receive trouble all the time, but that does NOT stop us.

We do NOT always know what to do, but we are NOT afraid to continue.

We have many enemies, BUT we always have friends.

People hurt us, but they NEVER destroy us.

So, we do NOT look at the things that we can see in this world. Instead, we look at the things that people cannot see.

The things that we can see are ONLY here for a short time. But the things that we cannot see will continue for ever.”
‭‭
Thought: As the words of a popular song say, “This world is not my home; I’m just a passing thru. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.”

Life here on earth is so temporary and short that you must learn to be disciplined in waiting for God’s timing. Be confident in whom you believe, and be persuaded that He is able to keep everything you have committed.

‭What does God want you to do?
Be quiet and trust in Him. You will be safe and strong again.

Confidence in God keeps you stable during life’s challenges. When you’re confident, you are more likely to move forward and not back away from adversities.

Sometimes, you just have to look up and smile because you know when you walk in obedience, the frustrations and confusion ends.

What we learn while waiting for answers is the sum total of everything we have experienced.

HAPPY MONDAY! 153 more days in 2022. Let’s finish strong!
